Soft! I really love the heating.
I have a 3 hour commute home from work every day. with a mid and upper back injury I experienced from a car accident about a year ago, this ride has become unbearable. my coworker recommended this to me and luckily my Toyota sienna is equipped with an electrical outlet, (not a cigarette lighter, which is also included by the way) so this worked out perfectly for me.
I am 5‘3“ and I am happy to report that All of The massaging heads are designed perfectly to hit the right spots for me (unlike other massages I have owned in the past that seem to be designed for tall people) Just amazing!
it is equipped with many settings, has helped target pain in every area of my back! (my favorite is the combination mode, which offers numerous different techniques all in one setting, so I don’t have to take my eyes off the road fumbling with the remote.

the heating element is a great added bonus, it helps soothe the pain and also the stress from the long days work, by the time I get home I am completely refreshed. It heats up in under a minute! The remote is really Big. I don’t have to worry about losing it under the seat, also it is easy to read and with clear, bright labels.
The fabric is extremely high-quality, soft, breathable, comfortable and very easy to keep clean. It’s also very nicely padded!
they thought of everything when designing this, even a handy compartment to keep the remote stored while not in use.
I would recommend this to anyone that struggles with sitting for long Periods of time
